The kid is only 19. Yes, 19. He just lost it and he obviously, couldn’t control his emotions.
And honestly, I couldn’t blame the kid for how he reacted. Am I saying that it
was ok to literally obliterate the hecklers and be like the Incredible Hulk
going wild on the streets? (Check this link for the actual footage: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1F5ZQvWVloU) Of course, by all means, I would never say that it
was ok. Yet, I mean, for someone, who was so used to winning and who just won a
National Championship a few months back, obviously, all the losing has caught
up with him. Well, at least, they got one win already. Anyway, the kid got
suspended for two games. And I just hope Jahlil Okafor has really learned his
lessons well and from now on, will just focus on becoming the best baller that
he can be and not the best brawler that he can be.
