Ranking the Best:

Patty Mills

10) Patty Mills (55th overall): He was a big part of San Antonio's championship run in 2014. He has transformed himself into a consistent clutch shooter. He also made it easier for San Antonio to let go of Cory Joseph.

Taj Gibson

9) Taj Gibson (26th overall): He was a steal for the Bulls. He is one of the most dependable and productive bench players in the NBA.

DeMarre Carroll

8) DeMarre Carroll (27th overall): He has worked very hard in developing his game. Atlanta is obviously missing his presence especially on the defensive end.

Danny Green

Ty Lawson

7) Danny Green (46th overall)/ Ty Lawson (18th overall): Danny Green was the most overlooked Tar Heel during the draft and yet, he has outperformed his college teammates in the NBA. Deadly shooter, great defender, and with a ring. Ty Lawson has not fit well with the Rockets but he was an extremely effective point guard with a very high assist rate when he was with the Nuggets.

Brandon Jennings

Ricky Rubio

6) Brandon Jennings (10th overall)/ Ricky Rubio (5th overall): Brandon Jennings is still recovering from an injury. When healthy, he is still fun to watch with his scoring ability and swag. Ricky Rubio is an elite passer with tons of creativity. The problem is, he still can't shoot the basketball and this has definitely hindered his progress as a player.

Jrue Holiday (left) and Tyreke Evans (right)

5) Jrue Holiday (17th overall)/ Tyreke Evans (4th overall): These two are dynamic players with tons of potential coming in. Yet, injuries have derailed their careers. Unfortunately for the Pelicans, they are on the same team.

DeMar DeRozan (left) and Jeff Teague (right)

4) Jeff Teague (19th overall)/ DeMar DeRozan (9th overall): These two are very underrated. Yet, they have managed to become all-stars by playing within the systems of their teams and by consistently working on their games.

Blake Griffin

3) Blake Griffin (1st overall): Blake can easily go number one in another draft. Yet, he is with two other superstars in this draft so he goes down to number 3. Anyway, he has come a long way from his dunk fest galore in college to becoming an efficient superstar with the Clippers. His overall game has just improved so much. No one has any right to just call him a mere dunker.

James Harden

2) James Harden (3rd overall): Arguably, the best two guard in the NBA. He is unstoppable and it is impossible to guard him. People say that he is struggling this season and yet, he is still averaging 29 ppg.

Steph Curry

1) Steph Curry (7th overall): No words can describe this guy anymore. He is a player like no other. His skills are not just elite, they are close to perfect already. Steph is the best player in the NBA.
