Anthony Davis is doing his part to make it work for the Pelicans.

What
I don’t like about the situation of
the Pelicans is that they haven’t really gotten a chance to see what their
complete lineup can actually do. And I think, this is why it is so difficult
for them to make some trades. They obviously do not want to go through having
to deal with “what ifs” if ever they do make moves if some of those guys become
healthy and start playing better. Yet, the more that they wait for these guys
to finally be healthy, the more that they are also wasting time to actually
form a healthier team around Anthony Davis. It seems like they are committed to
what Alvin Gentry brings to the table and of course, to AD with the $145M
extension, so they might as well form a team that would fit both Coach Gentry
and their Superstar player.
