2012. The year that Bron got his first title. It was also the year that a phenom from Chicago got drafted 1st overall by the then New Orleans Hornets now known as the Pelicans. He was just fresh from winning a National Title for the powerhouse Kentucky Wildcats. The kid, before even making his NBA debut, won a gold medal with the Redeem Team a few months after the draft. And now, after 3 super seasons in the League, Anthony Davis is now officially, the eventual BEST PLAYER IN THE WORLD.

A.D. just signed an extension worth $145 Million for 5 years. When I first read the news, I thought it was a joke. But after a few minutes, I realized that the Pelicans just locked up the most important player in basketball for the next 6 years (including this upcoming season). The future really looks bright for the Pelicans. Their new coach Alvin Gentry just won a championship with GSW. All they have to do now is to surround A.D. with the right mix of guys and sooner or later, they will be raising their own championship banner. Congrats A.D.! Go get 'em!!!
