Game 1 between the Orlando Magic (White) and the Charlotte Hornets: Magic won 81-68.
Players who made an impression:
Keith Benson (Magic, Center): He was mobile and active throughout. He had 16 points, 3 boards and 2 blocks.
Scottie Wilbekin (Magic, Guard): The former Florida Gator shot lights out again as he had 15 points
(5 three pointers), 3 boards and 3 assists. He looked very comfortable and was pretty humble during the interview as well. I hope to see him play in the NBA. Be does have the shooting touch to do so.
PJ Hairston (Hornets, Guard): He has struggled for the past few games. Today he had a more efficient game as he had 14 points and 6 boards.
Aaron Harrison (Hornets, Guard): Another solid performance for Harrison. He started slow but he played better in the second half. He had 15 points, 4 boards, 1 assist and 1 block.
Game 2 between the Indiana Pacers and the Detroit Pistons: Pistons won 90-65
Players who made an impression:
Joe Young (Pacers, 2015 draft 41st overall pick): The only issue with Joe Young coming in was if he could actually run the point. Yet, without a doubt, this guy has shown that he could flat out score against anyone. Today was his breakout offensive game as he had 25 points, 3 boards and 5 assists.
Stanley Johnson (Pistons, 2015 draft 8th overall pick): Another S.L. MVP performance by Stanley Johnson with 20 points, 10 boards, 2 dimes, 3 steals and 2 blocks.
Myles Turner (Pacers, 2015 draft 11th overall pick): The Pacers got blown out but Myles Turner made his presence felt again with 23 points, 8 boards, 2 steals and 4 blocks.
Game 3 between the LA Clippers and the Miami Heat: Heat won 87-85.
Players who made an impression:
Shabazz Napier (Heat, Guard): He did not see a lot of summer league action but he was impressive today. He ran the show well and showed a lot of maturity out there. He had 14 points, 4 boards and 6 assists.
Branden Dawson (Clippers, 2015 draft 56th overall pick): So far, the steal of the 2015 draft. He had another monster performance with 15 points, 11 boards, 2 assists, 3 steals and 4 blocks.
Diante Garrett (Clippers, Guard): He showed why he has consistently made rosters for the past seasons. He had 20 points, 6 boards, 3 assists and 3 steals.
