Game 1 between the Philadelphia 76ers  and the Boston Celtics:  76ers won 76-62

Players who made an impression:
Jahlil Okafor (76ers, 2015 draft 3rd overall pick): He had another slow start but heated up in the second half. Solid outing by Okafor as he had 13 points and 9 boards.

CJ Fair (Celtics, Forward): Fair is one of those guys who will never be the best player on the team but will always be a contributor. During the game, it was difficult not to notice his effectivity. He ended up with 10 points, 6 boards, 3 assists, 1 steal and 1 block.

Richaun Holmes (76ers, 2015 draft  overall pick): Another second rounder who showed up and played with a lot of energy. They didn't even have to run anything for him because he just did the dirty work. He had 13 points, 8 boards, 1 assist and 2 blocks.

Jerami Grant (76ers, Forward): He played well again. I liked how he could attack from the perimeter and how comfortable he looked doing so. He had 12 points, 5 boards and 1 assist.

Jordan McRae (Sixers, Guard): Another impressive performance by McRae. He was not at all hesitant to take and make shots. He had 13 points, 5 boards and 3 assists.

Terry Rozier (Celtics, 2015 draft 16th overall pick): Without Marcus Smart, he stepped it up for the Celtics. He pushed the pace well again but was a little erratic at times. Still, good game by the former Cardinal as he had 14 points, 2 boards, 2 assists and 2 steals.

Game 2 between the Utah Jazz and the San AntonionSpurs: Jazz won 72-70.
Players who made an impression:

Kyle Anderson (Spurs, Guard): Kyle looked physically stronger and leaner than last year. He moved well with the ball and without it. He has always had the talent and the tools to be a solid NBA player, he just needs to put it all together. Tremendous second game as he ended with 25 points, 8 boards, 2 assists, 1 steal and 1 block even though he missed the game-tying shot.

T. Graham (Spurs, Guard): Bertans and Lalanne struggled a bit but Graham stepped it up for the Spurs. He had 17 points and 3 boards.

Rodney Hood (Jazz, Guard): For a guy who played with a shoulder injury, the former Duke standout was fantastic. He showed everyone again that he could consistently hit the outside shot, attack the basket, hit mid-range jumpers and go to the line. He ended up with 18 points, 5 boards and 1 block.
